KIRKLAND, WEEK 4

June 4th - June 10th

Well ... the time is flying, clearly. Things are going well, we are happy and healthy (but we are getting older). I have already described our trip to Orcas Island and my "leisure" walk from Seattle. Nothing else really happen this week. So there is few notes and thoughts I have.

When you are crossing the road, you should use those flags for your safety. Never seen it before.

For the most part it feels like big garden around here. Pretty much everything is well cared for, landscaped and really nice.


The intersection in Kirkland. The downtown is relatively small and lacks "wow" factor. It is really clean, nice, somewhat vibrant and lively, but ...


There is abandoned train track crossing Kirkland in the middle. It is like small oasis surrounded by houses and businesses. It is really nice walk, the option for us to get to downtown, or just enjoy something different.
