WEEK 13

(August 6^th – August 12^th)

Well … this was our last week in Kirkland, Washington. There were three more days of work, last day being unfortunately Saturday. Heat wave did hit this corner of the country and we were somewhat uncomfortable. The apartment does not have air conditioning, and our balcony faces west (the afternoon sun just bakes our place). 

 We did not do much, packing, looking for next assignment and wrapping things up. For a moment, we thought we were going to Sacramento (California), but there was some serious mess in communication etc, so on Friday we were informed that Sacramento was not an option anymore. So we were leaving Kirkland without any idea about our next destination. We were leaving on Monday, the 13^th of August.
