Around 10 o'clock in the morning we drove towards Gold Bar, Washington. The town is home to the Wallace Falls State park.
We saw the park, when we were arriving to Kirkland. We stopped and thought, that we would take small hike. The park's hiking trails are longer, so that day we just left without going in.
The average weather, not raining, not sunny, ... just normal.
I did not want to carry anything, so we did not have any water or food with us. I thought it would be around eight miles and three hours. The park was beautiful, most of the way to waterfalls, we followed the river. Even parts of the trail were marked as easy, they were going up and down a lot. It took much longer to get to the waterfalls, but it was worth it.
Instead of taking the same trail, we decided to make a circle a walk through Wallace Lake. Mostly nice trail, green and deep forest, a lot of streams and water.
At the end, it was 8.5 miles and 5.5 hours.
