ROAD TRIP - DAY 5 (5-13-2012)

Bozeman, Montana to Moses Lake, Washington.
About 510 miles, 8.5 hours.

Same morning routine. And driving back to 90 WEST and just going. The landscape was pretty, but it was becoming kind of boring. There was a lot of miles behind us and we started to have enough.

Quick detour to Alberton, Montana, because I saw sign for used bookstore. It was there and it was nice break from driving. And back to ... 90 West.

I do not recall any significant stops. We left Montana and entered Idaho. The idea of the potato land did not match reality. We continued enjoying hills and mountains, nice forest and nice scenery.

We drove by funny sounding town called "Coeur d'Alane".
To take a break, we stopped in small town called Wallace. It was nice and small. It looked like there were some trails around, but we did not have so much time.

Before entering Washington state, we filled gas tank in Idaho, because we knew the price was going to change. We stopped in Spokane, drove through the city and found nice river park. Took us a while to find a spot on the street to park. The weather was great, sunny and really warm, so there was a lot of people enjoying falls and outdoors. We walked around a bit, saw waterfalls and went back to the car.

And then about two hours of driving to Moses Lake. It changed from mountains to kind of plains or desert.
First night in chain motel (8). Just fine.
